Where the Bus Pass Took Us

While homebodies by nature, we do regularly muster the single malt courage to go out into the world and experience music in the flesh, and we document these excursions in Where the Bus Pass Took Us.

Last night we caught a set from Davy Jay Sparrow & His Well Known Famous Drovers and a then a set from Thousand Arrows.  Videos from each below the jump.

Davy Jay and crew played as part of the It Still Bleeds night of new comedy and music at the Comedy Attic, and we learned that pointing our camera directly at a neon sign as bright of the sun makes for less than great video.

We then went downstairs to catch Thousand Arrows opening up for Family Band at the Bishop, where we learned that our camera doesn’t work so well in extremely low light conditions.  Either that or we smudged the lens somehow.  Either way – enjoy this blurry, esoteric clip.  Shaky at first, as we were trying to find a good spot to stand.

A night of good tunes and good times and learning the shortcomings of a flipcam.
