This Day in Music History

It was this day in 1968, the day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, that James Brown kept the peace in Boston by performing a special televised concert, aimed at keeping people at home in front of their televisions and out of the streets.  Watch the amazing documentary The Night James Brown Saved Boston, in it’s entirety below.
