Where the Bus Pass Took Us

While homebodies by nature, we do regularly muster the single malt courage to go out into the world and experience music in the flesh, and we document these excursions in Where the Bus Pass Took Us.

Last night Postcard ChaCha went to The Bishop to catch her latest obsession: Generationals.

Although the Generationals show at The Bishop wasn’t very well attended last night, the crowd definitely knew their stuff. And the Generationals? These New Orleans natives may have felt the northern chill of an Indiana spring in the air, but they didn’t let it show. The guys engaged the small crowd in a bit of conversation about local sandwiches at The Bakehouse, zodiac silliness, awkward threesomes set to their music in movies and the possibility of comedy in case the band idea doesn’t pan out. I have to say, that back up plan is actually pretty solid, but l don’t think they’ll need it.

We shot these vids for your enjoyment, but you can catch them live on one of their remaining tour dates if they happen to be in your town. Or if you’re going to Jazz Fest…in which case we are terribly jealous of you.
