Where the Internet Took Us

How much do we love Ha Ha Tonka?  So much that we’ll break our hard and fast rule of not embedding Vimeo clips (why? because they always embed in this tiny bullshit size and no matter what we do we can’t get them to embed larger – that’s why) and post this, their official music video for “Usual Suspects” from their brilliant new release Death of a Decade.  Check out DoaD here, and check out our previous HHT love here.

This Day in Music History (Sort Of) – Mustache! on blue jeans

It was this day in 1873 that San Francisco businessman Levi Strauss and Reno tailor Jacob Davis were given a patent to create work pants reinforced with metal rivets, marking the birth of one of the world’s most famous garments: blue jeans. To mark the occasion we asked our buddies Travis Falcontamer and Jesse Grizzlebottom from the group Mustache! to wax poetic on the blue jean and it’s influence on rock and roll and society as we know it.
