Where the Internet Took Us

Thanks to our buddies over at Landlocked Music for turning on to the fact that the Library of Congress now has an online virtual jukebox where you can stream their massive collection of historic recordings.  It is nothing short of amazing.  It also seems to be the only jukebox in America that doesn’t have any Steve Miller Band or Bob Seger, but that’s cool (we guess). The flashbacks continue!  Today’s post is from Heath Byers – co-owner of independent record shop Landlocked Music, one half of soul-funk DJ duo The Mother Truckers and occasional member of the Early Day Miners traveling rock and roll show in some unspecified but undoubtedly crucial role.
