Atlas Mix – Volume 3 – States

This Day in Music History

It was this day in 1913 that McKinley Morganfield was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi.  The world would come to know him as Muddy Waters, the creator of Chicago blues, an electrified and more urban version of the music of his delta home.  We’ve pulled some of our favorite videos of Muddy for the occasion.  Check them out below.
